Ziming Wang is a research-based designer.
He coalesces a variety of media to establish communications between himself and the audiences. Part of his works could be defined as a designed experience. Texts, images, audio, objects, and other media were used to immerse the audiences in scenarios he created. His works are intentionally designed to feel absurd, hilarious, and sometimes creepy, in order to dispel the strangeness of discussing our possible futures.
His works were exhibited in multiple exhibitions, including the NYCxDesign during New York Design Week 2021 and were featured in SAIC’s annual journal.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in art and design. He is now a PhD student at the Royal College of Art.
